Hello everybody!

I am not a blogging person, I needed to create a blog for a class. The first blogs are related to this course, the next ones are going to be about myself, my life, my adventures. Feel free to add comments and enjoy!

A new adventure starts as one ends...

I said a few weeks ago that this year would be a year of changings... well it is going to be a big change...

Since I had came back from Calgary in September, it had not been the same... actually it was not even the same during the summer. I guess I had expected too much... This is one my major flaws... You know... Dreaming of a prince who would save you from the evil step-mother... Well, my prince did not come to me, I flew to him and he did not save me... He played *$%?&%$* World of Warcraft all summer long.
Anyway, all this to say that finally we broke up, in good terms.. I guess...

So to celebrate that, I got a haircut!! Yep yep yep!! (Land before Time hihi)
Wanna see?!?! =P

This one is for my girlfriend, that I love more than everything on earth!!!

This is my nephew, Fox!!!

What can I say except that I am so damnly hot!!! Oufff =P

So that was my new hair!
This week is our midterms week, so lots of stress and sleepless nights haha
Vive l'université!!
But after, it's... Reading Week! Youpidou!
And on Friday, it,s Pierre-Luc's concert.
The Spleen live at Le Pettit Théâtre Champlain!
You'll hear of it.

And now two pictures of our somewhat snowstorm of this week.

February 7th, 2009

On February 7th, Laval university welcomed the anual event: the SPEAQ campus. For the occasion, we had the chance to meet François Tarrab, who was surprisingly amazing. I am keeping some good memories of him.

A lot of people assisted this conference. We all had a great time. Here are some pictures of our group!

Julien, Sara and François... and the other Julien trying to hide.

This is LOVE, people! =P

Aww crazyness! Feels good sometimes to get out of your mind!!!

François and Érika during the succulent lunch!

After, during the evening, I went to the Carnaval Parade with Érika and Vanassa!!! Great moments even though it was raining...

Érika, myself and Vanassa

Now, for Mélissa whom is in Spain, some images of out Québec weather, to remind her not to complain about the weather over there!!!!

My January 2009

A new year has just (a month late) begun. For the first time of my life, I decided to undertake a new perception of life, based on a more selfish view. For the past few years, I've lived to please and serve the ones I love around me withour really thinking about muself. I must say here, that I did thought about myself in some way, otherwise I would still be somewhere called Granby and I would not have the same "travelling" experience as I have now. But the thing is that, this year, I want to please myself. I want to work on myself because I discovered last summer, that I was a lot (too much) like my mom, and that scared me. First because my mom does not know anything about life and responsabilities; and second because it caused such a tragedy in my love life.
So here are my resolutions of the year!

1. I , and only I, am the master of my happiness.
2. Live every second truly fully.
3. Grow self-confidence, it's rule number 1.
4. "Miras delantes tù".

Here is one of my "Live every second truly fully".
This is my nephew, Fox, a Labrador Golden.
He is so much fun, though sometimes he can look retarted.

<3>

Here are two drunk girls, my roommate and myself at her boyfriend's house. She has been a good ear when I needed one and vice and versa. It's good to support herselves through the hard paths of our lives...

Érika, Vanessa and myself for Van's birthday party. Great night! Another "Live every second truly fully" moment!

And here I leave you with the smile and the look of the month (January).

Rainy Day

Seated at the table, I look outside. All I see through the dirty window is the red neighbour's house, a tree in his backyard and a white sky. White after the dark grey clouds have moved away. Hopefully the sun will come out... We still can see traces of rain. Just rain?! If you were where I am right now about an hour ago, you would know it was not just a little rain.

Since the morning the sky was a dark greyish. Around 2 o'clock, the sky got dark grey, almost black. Minutes later, a light rain started to fall, stronger and stronger. Then it all stopped suddently. Five minutes passes and without a warning... Brooooommmm. Thunder!

Now it all calmed down. For the Xth time today, I hear this song I can't hear anymore. The thing with listening the radio is that you can hear the same song 10 times in the same %&?% day!

Dieu, my shoulders are soo sore. I went biking yesterday with friends and for a first in years it was a loooong ride! Four hours in town, on a bike... I had never been that happy being caught in the rain. We decided to go back home, cutting in downtown (ouch) for a shortcut. I got home, jumped in the shower (actually more sliding cautionly in) and went straight to bed.

I have to study for my exam tomorrow... nah... just a little nap before...

Is it the end yet?!

School, homework, school, homework, work, school, homework, school, work.... That is pretty much my life ! No time for socializing... Oh and I forget, between school, homework aand work, I have to pack up my stuffs because I am moving out at the end of April, PLUS I have to do my luggage because I have a plane to take on April 28th! How am I surviving you ask!?! I have no freaking idea. I'm about to crack out! I can tell you that the days, I am counting them , but not too much because, yes I am excited about leaving it all, but there are lots of things to do for school. PLUS that I have to go to the dentist, doctor and so fourth :(

HAAAAAAAAAA!

Can anyone help me? I can't wait to be in West, with my boyfriend... Paradise :D yay

18 Days!!!

Forum usage

Since I've started my computer course, I've learned many things about computer. Now I have a blog, even a web site (WHAT!?!) , yes a web site, and I am even interacting on a forum. Before that, I would have never thought that I would be doing those things one day. For me, blogs and forum was only a waste of time for people with no life. But, as I have to work on that for my course, I am getting pretty excited about my new blog and the forum.

Even though I don't really have something to say, It's fun just to "blog" about whatever, even the weather if you want!

As for the forum, a couple of years ago, one of my friend tried to introduce me to forums. We were two real fan of a British band unknown in America, and she was writting on forums about them (as it was pretty much the only way to keep in touch with news). She even tried to have me write "fan fics" (fan fiction stories) so I can post them on the forum. I started by reading a few "fan fics" on the forum, but it didn't take me long to get tired of it. I wasn't made for "foruming".

But since I am back in the forum motion, believe it or not, I'm enjoying it. I think it might be the fact that the subjects closely concern us and that I have feeds to add to topics. What I like is that the topics or not ONLY related to the course, so I can ask poeple for tips about what I will do during my summer vacation in West and help other people :)

Finally, computers are not only for losers :) Or if they are, well, I'm a loser (haha)
